To eat and shop locally makes sense for a whole variety of reasons, and building locally has enormous merits as well. At V. Todd & Company “local” is not a new practice or a hip trend to chase, as we have been building locally since our inception as a company over 30 years ago. We use local lumber, work with local architects and designers, we source local materials and finishings, our custom trims are milled locally, and our sub-contractors eat, sleep, and raise their families all nearby. Tapping into the local resources makes environmental and economical sense. By building locally, our work has given us another type of footprint: a solid footprint in our community.
